Eliana started designing jewelry while studying Fashion Design at CEDIM (The Monterrey Center for Higher Studies in Design). During this time she as well carried out field research in Yucatan, Mexico, for her thesis entitled “Neomestizas”, based on the techniques of Mayan embroidery applied to garments with stylized silhouettes, when she discovered the great potential of working hand-in-hand with artisans in her new project, AGUA DE ROSAS.
In 2011 she founded AGUA DE ROSAS, with the aim of creating authentic pieces of jewelry, with a feminine and romantic spirit, which are the result of Eliana’s creative process and the close collaboration with Mexican artisans.
Eliana considers herself passionate about jewelry, reason why she is always exploring and learning new techniques that further enrich her creative process to design the AGUA DE ROSAS collections.
